Any time you are introduced to a new subject, your brain connects it to what’s already established (see art: Work on your foundation).


That’s the way we learn, so basically if there’s nothing your brain can relate with, it becomes difficult if not impossible to grasp an idea.

To stimulate this process, deliberately seek out ways to connect what you have learnt with what you are learning.
